About the Ajax Municipal Housing Corporation
Ajax Municipal Housing Corporation (AMHC) is a social housing provider that owns and manages 574 affordable housing units located in the Town of Ajax in the Province of Ontario. Our housing portfolio consists of three high-rise buildings, one low rise low-rise building and two townhouse communities.

AMHC’s portfolio consists of both Rent-Geared-to-Income (subsidized) rental units and Market rental (non-subsidized) units.

AMHC has three distinct divisions, Building Operations, Tenant Services, and Finance.

Building Operations is responsible for the overall maintenance of our portfolio buildings and units.

Tenant Services is responsible for unit rentals and review of RGI tenants ongoing eligibility for subsidy.

Finance is responsible for accounts payable and receivable including collection of rent arrears.
